New World Cancer Declaration 2025–2035 by UICC
Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) — shared on LinkedIn:
“Shaping the future of cancer control: The World Cancer Declaration 2025–2035
UICC is developing a new World Cancer Declaration to guide national cancer control efforts for the next decade. This updated framework will succeed the current Declaration, which has supported global progress since 2008.
It offers a flexible and principle-driven framework, adaptable to national contexts and responsive to today’s evolving global challenges—from pandemics and climate change to technological advances in AI and digital health.
To ensure the Declaration reflects the diverse realities of cancer control, UICC will launch a consultation via UICC Connect from the end of May to early September 2025. Member organisations will be invited to provide feedback on the draft, available in English, French and Spanish, including input on language, indicators, and priority actions.
The final Declaration will be launched at the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit in November 2025, promoting an equitable, sustainable and people-centred approach, and encouraging collaboration across all sectors.”
