I believe nothing will improve for cancer patients until the current crisis in cancer services is acknowledged and action taken. We urgently need a designated national cancer plan.
Alongside others such as Radiotherapy UK, Richard Sullivan, David Collingridge, Mark Lawler, and Gordon Wishart, I have been sounding the alarm about the devastating impact of cancer wait times and delayed diagnoses for our loved ones.
