MRI PI-RADS Score and Prostate Cancer Active Surveillance Early Biopsy Reclassification
Baris Turkbey, Senior Clinician at the Molecular Imaging Branch at NCI, shared on X:
“Association of Baseline MRI PI-RADS Score With Prostate Cancer Active Surveillance Early Biopsy Reclassification.
- Baseline PI-RADS ≥ 4 lesions were significantly associated with increased risk of biopsy reclassification to >GG2
- Grade group 2 vs 1 was associated with higher reclassification risk (>GG2)
- Increasing age (per 10 years) was linked to higher reclassification risk (>GG2)
Congrats to Kiran Nandalur and Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC) investigators for this important work.”
