The European Cancer Organisation published new requirements for improving brain cancer care. Introducing the Essential Requirements for Quality Cancer Care for adults with glioma, a common and serious brain tumor. These aim to ensure all patients across Europe can access the best care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Key recommendations: Treat patients from the start at specialized neuro-oncology centers Multidisciplinary team collaboration is critical to optimize quality and length of life. Personalized care and support for patients’ unique needs . Glioma patients face significant cognitive, physical and emotional challenges so high quality, tailored care is essential .These requirements provide a framework to improve care and outcomes!
