Ariana Znaor: The results of our survey on breast cancer and cervix cancer screening practices are out in Journal of Cancer Policy.
Ariana Znaor, a scientist, at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, recently shared on LinkedIn:
“The results of our survey on breast cancer and cervix cancer screening practices are out in Journal of Cancer Policy: Breast and cervical cancer screening practices in nine countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia: A population-based survey – ScienceDirect. Opportunistic screening remains widespread in the region, as well as departures from evidence-based practices, such as Romanowski-Giemsa staining for cervical smears still used in five out of nine countries. Read more details in full text (available as OA). Thanks to collaborators from WHO EURO and survey respondents from EECA.”
