Baris Turkbey: Over the years, we’ve developed organ segmentation and lesion detection models on localized prostate cancer
Baris Turkbey, Senior Clinician, and Radiologist at Molecular Imaging Branch, NCI, NIH, recently shared a post on X:
“Our group has been working on localized prostate cancer imaging for more than one and a half decades. We began by optimizing MRI vs. pathology correlation using patient-specific molds.
Over the years, we’ve developed organ segmentation and lesion detection models in collaboration with our partners and tested them in several multi-reader studies.
One of our main goals is to create and share translational AI models for clinical use.
We are immensely grateful to our collaborators and the spirit of team science for accompanying us on this journey.
If you’re interested in joining our scientific journey, please reach out to us. Together, we can advance prostate cancer imaging and treatment.”
