“Happy to share our latest international collaborative effort now published in American Journal of Gastroenterology showing that mortality rates of gastrointestinal cancers from high body mass index (BMI) increased in low income and lower-middle income countries, while the disease burden decreased or remained stable in high and middle-income countries. Concerted efforts to tackle the obesity pandemic are urgently needed!”
