Liu, the Director of Thoracic Oncology and Head of Developmental Therapeutics at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, in a tweet, he mentions that the “More data showing the importance of *waiting* for NGS results before starting non–small-cell lung cancer therapy whenever possible!
Retrospective analysis JCO Oncology Practice show that when treatment of driver+ non–small-cell lung cancer before biomarker results is associated with inferior survival.”
