Herbert Loong: Experiences and needs of patients with sarcoma – a qualitative meta-synthesis
Herbert Loong, Chair-Elect of the International Affairs Committee at ASCO, posted on X:
“Sarcoma patients face significant challenges in their journey aside from physical illness. Psychosocial needs and its wellbeing are of paramount importance. Addressing these challenges requires a holistic approach involving healthcare providers management, organizational change, community support and publicpolicyreform.
We highlighted these important aspects in this recently published qualitative meta-synthesis.
My thanks to Prof. Janelle Yorke and the The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), PolyU Nursing team for inviting me to contribute to this work.”
