Harenthri Devy Alagir Rajah: Our abstract was honoured with the Vanessa Moss 10 Top Award at LGCW
Harenthri Devy Alagir Rajah, Research Associate at University of Malaya, shared on LinkedIn:
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to present on the financial disparities between East and West Malaysia at London Global Cancer Week in the House of Commons, UK Parliament, Westminster.
This achievement would not have been possible without the visionary leadership, guidance, and unwavering mentorship of Nirmala Bhoo Pathy whose work is shedding light on the financial burden of healthcare in Southeast Asia.
Her passion for addressing healthcare inequalities is truly inspiring, and her dedication has been the driving force behind this success.
Nirmala Bhoo Pathy belief in this cause motivates us all to push boundaries, and I am incredibly thankful for her constant support and encouragement.
I am also immensely proud to share that our abstract was honoured with the Vanessa Moss 10 Top Award!
This recognition reflects the collective effort and commitment to creating a more equitable healthcare system for all.
A heartfelt thank you to the committee members who made this event possible at the House of Commons, UK Parliament, Westminster.
It was a pleasure meeting everyone Olubukola Ayodele, Aruni Ghose, Kofi Adesi Kyei, Ophira Ginsburg.
I’m proud to be a part of the WECAN Research Group led by Nirmala Bhoo Pathy and the impactful work we continue to do.
Thank you to everyone who made this experience so meaningful.”
