“Words matter.
In this editorial in European Urology, my colleagues and I propose some terms which we believe can help to communicate more clearly, destigmatize prostate cancer, and perhaps lead to increased utilization of combination therapy for metastatic disease.
I know that is a lot to expect, but let’s start by rallying around clearer language to describe prostate cancer disease states and treatments.”
