Lizzy Smyth: Happy to host the impressive Veronika Patsko as a ESMO fellow in Oxford
Lizzy Smyth, Medical Oncologist at Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust, shared a post on X:
“I’m so happy to have been able to host the impressive young Ukrainian oncologist Veronika Patsko as a ESMO fellow in Oxford.
And equally lucky to have the amazing international global scholar Hongcheng Zhu from China at the same time.
We will miss you Veronika!”
Elizabeth (Lizzy) Smyth is a consultant medical oncologist specializing in upper GI oncology at Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust. Her research focuses on esophagogastric cancer, with an emphasis on clinical trials and translational research. Smyth is a member of the ESMO Upper GI Faculty, serves as Chair of the Guidelines Committee, and is a member of the ESMO Council.
