Aaron Goodman, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, shared a post on X:
“One of my favorite differentials!
Intestinal T/NK lymphoma!
Can be very aggressive or very indolent!
Let the clinical scenario guide you!
If incidental on screening colonoscopy please don’t blast with chemotherapy.
Aggressive: EATL = Refractory celiac
MEITL = Like EATL, no celiac
Indolent:
IT-LPD:
CD4,CD8 types
JAK-STAT
Slight risk transformation
NK-enteropathy:
CD56+
JAK3
A must have image for T-cell lymphoma enthusiasts [Jaffe. Haematol.20]”
