The kick-off meeting for the SCARLET project – SIOP Europe

“Exciting news from Vilnius!
We are thrilled to announce the kick-off meeting for the SCARLET project, aimed at enhancing research for childhood cancer survivors in Lithuania.
This initiative will address critical gaps in survivorship research, improve the transition from pediatric to adult care, and implement innovative solutions for monitoring long-term effects.
We are honored to have SIOPE (European Society for Paediatric Oncology) attending and leading Work Packages 5 (Strengthening Research Management and Administration Skills) and 7 (Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation).
SCARLET project will focus on seven key areas:
- WP1: Epidemiology and Qualitative Research
- WP2: Scaling Up Survivorship Research in ALL
- WP3: Targeting Specific Needs in Pediatric CNS Tumors
- WP4: Early and Late Toxicities in Solid Childhood Tumors
- WP5: Strengthening Research Management and Administration Skills
- WP6: Project Management and Coordination
- WP7: Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation
