Strategies beyond the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control could reduce deaths due to lung cancer – IARC
IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer / WHO shared a post on LinkedIn:
“IARC paper in The Lancet Public Health shows prohibiting sale of tobacco to people born in 2006-2010 could prevent 1.2 million Lung Cancer deaths by 2095.
This first-of-its-kind study strengthens the evidence that adopting endgame strategies beyond the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control could reduce deaths due to lung cancer.”
