We had the incredible honor of hearing a profound ode to life from survivor Tomaz Dezelak, who shared these wise words:
When a man drowns
the more he struggles the faster he drowns.
In the sea of life
the more you struggle, the less you achieve.
The more you possess, the more it possesses you.
The more you gather, the slower you become.
The more you gain, the more you fear of losing.
The higher you go, the more your fear of falling.
In the sea of life
up and down,
up and down the waves go.
And the wise man never swims against the flow.
He learns to love
without attachment
have without possessing
and live by being
