Honored to be awarded my first R01 grant to study neural control of the HSC niche – Maryanovich Lab

“I’m honored to be awarded my first R01 grant to study neural control of the HSC niche. This wouldn’t have been possible without the tremendous help of my mentors at Einstein and the late Dr. Paul Frenette!”

Quoting Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s post:

“The NIGH NHLBI has awarded Maria Maryanovich, a five-year, $2.8 million grant to discover the molecular mechanisms by which age-related dysfunction of autonomic nerves in the bone marrow drives the aging of HSCs and the blood system. More.”
