Sarah Louden: Honored to be speaking at the 2nd Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit
Sarah Louden shared on LinkedIn:
“I’m honored to be speaking at the 2nd Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit in Atlanta on November 18-19, 2024, organized by my good friend Eugene Manley. This summit is focused on a critical theme: ‘Black and Latino Populations Navigating Lung Cancer: Problems and Solutions.’
We often discuss the challenges these communities face in accessing quality lung cancer care, but what sets this summit apart is its focus on solutions. This program brings together stakeholders from all levels—community leaders, healthcare providers, policymakers, and more—who are actively working to reduce disparities, improve outcomes, and advance equity in lung cancer care.
I’m particularly excited about the possibility of moderating panels that will delve deep into these solutions, highlighting real-world examples of what’s working and how we can replicate these successes across the country. This is more than just a discussion; it’s a call to action for everyone involved in lung cancer care to step up and be part of the change.
If you’re passionate about health equity, especially in the context of lung cancer, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Let’s come together to share ideas, learn from one another, and most importantly, take concrete steps to ensure that no one is left behind in the fight against lung cancer.”
