Importance of regular imaging tests for those at high risk of developing pancreatic cancer – NCI Center for Cancer Research
NCI Center for Cancer Research shared on LinkedIn:
“CANCER CURRENTS: Pancreatic cancer is the eighth most common cancer in the United States, but it is the third leading cause of cancer death. Treatment options are limited.
Udo Rudloff, M.D., Ph.D., Senior Investigator in the Pediatric Oncology Branch, weighed in on results from a new study that indicate that regular imaging tests to monitor the pancreas for people who are at high risk of developing pancreatic cancer may help to detect the disease at an earlier stage.
Dr. Rudloff was not involved in this study. Read more here.”
