Julia Maués: This is excellent science communication

Julia Maués, Co-Founder of GRASP, shared a post by Monica Bertagnolli, adding:

“Not hidden in a long technical paper, the phrase ‘in a study in mice’ is upfront, loud, and clear.

This is excellent science communication!

Monica Bertagnolli leading by example National Institutes of Health.”

Quoting Monica Bertagnolli’s post:

“In a study in mice, researchers used a new epigenetic editor to silence prion protein in the brain, providing a path toward a treatment for neurodegenerative diseases caused by the toxic buildup of unwanted proteins. More on my blog.”
