Jennifer S. Buell, President and Chief Executive Officer at MiNK Therapeutics, shared MiNK Therapeutics’s post on LinkedIn, adding:
“Incredible! MiNK Therapeutics has been selected to join the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) funded BioStabilization Systems (BoSS) initiative to advance room-temperature preservation of cell therapies.
For MiNK, this work is deeply personal. Through our Phase 2 trial, we have delivered our iNKT therapy (agent-797) to global sites, including those in Ukraine. We saw the criticality of delivering living medicine where it is needed – and the importance on eliminating cold-chain dependence to enable access to patients everywhere. Everywhere.
We are honored to work with Draper, Likarda, Inc. University of Colorado Boulder, Fresenius Kabi, CPSI Biotech, and CaseBioscience to advance the pathbreaking vision behind the BoSS program, championed by Gloria Elliott. MiNK Therapeutics brings our iNKT platform, clinical development expertise, and cGMP manufacturing to this effort.
There is important work ahead. We are breaking barriers to access through innovation!

Quoting MiNK Therapeutics:
“MiNK’s clinical-stage agenT-797 iNKT platform has been selected as a therapeutic cell system within an (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H))-funded team developing technologies intended to move living cell therapies from cryogenic storage toward room temperature.
ARPA-H has committed up to $87 million across the four-year.
BioStabilization Systems (BoSS) program to reduce dependence on cold-chain infrastructure and expand the reach of advanced biologic medicines.
As a core member of the RAB team, MiNK will contribute its allogeneic iNKT platform, proprietary cGMP manufacturing infrastructure, cell-therapy development expertise and clinically relevant production requirements to the development and evaluation of these technologies.
This collaboration advances MiNK’s strategy to develop deployable living medicines designed for scalable manufacturing and practical delivery wherever patients need them.
