Jennifer S. Buell Highlights Armenia’s First Marketing Authorizations for Botensilimab and Balstilimab

Jennifer S. Buell, President and CEO of MiNK Therapeutics and Chair of the Executive Council at Agenus, shared Agenus‘s post on LinkedIn, adding:

“A first, anywhere in the world.

Armenia has granted the first marketing authorizations for botensilimab and balstilimab, for people with previously treated MSS metastatic colorectal cancer. There is a new path for patients in need.

Congratulations to Garo Armen for his vision in improving lives without boundaries, Dr. Steven O’Day for his tireless work in change the face of cancer care from first-gen ICIs to molecules that are addressing the most difficult to treat cancers, and the Agenus team.

A special thanks to the forward thinking innovators and rigorous regulators in Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia for their science forward approach and Prof. Gevorg Tamamyan, and the Immune Oncology Research Institute for championing cancer care in Armenia and helping the world hear this news.”

Quoting Ageuns:

“Armenia has granted the first marketing authorizations for botensilimab plus balstilimab (BOT+BAL) for adults with previously treated microsatellite stable (MSS) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) without active liver metastases.

The authorizations follow a review of the totality of clinical data, quality, nonclinical, and pharmacovigilance data and mark an important milestone for the BOT+BAL program.
