Celebrating AACR’s Founding Anniversary – From 11 Prominent Scientists to 59,000 Research Leaders
Lillian L. Siu, President of American Association for Cancer Research, shared a post by American Association for Cancer Research on X, adding:
“As we celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the AACR, we reflect on the remarkable progress made against cancer throughout our history, and we renew our commitment to save, extend, and enhance the lives of patients with cancer.”
Quoting American Association for Cancer Research‘s post:
“On May 7, 1907, 11 prominent scientists met in Washington, DC, and founded the AACR “to further the investigation and spread the knowledge of cancer.” Today, the AACR’s 59,000 members remain committed to our mission to prevent and cure all cancers.”
