Aaron Goodman: He surgically placed under his skin, a lymph node from a patient with cancer
Aaron Goodman shared a post on his X/Twitter page:
“Dr. Nicholas Senn – an inquisitive surgeon! In 1901, Dr. Senn investigated if cancer was contagious. He surgically placed under his skin, a lymph node from a patient with cancer. After 2 weeks, the lymph node started to fade. Senn concluded that cancer is not contagious.”

Aaron Goodman is a Hematologist/ Oncologist and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guideline committee for both cutaneous NHLs and T-cell NHLs.
