National Cancer Research Institute (Warsaw): Celebrating 91 Years of Dedicated Cancer Care

91 years ago the ancestor of our Institute has been founded. May 29th marks our yearly aniversary. Please find below the photo from that day 91 years ago.

This building is located now at 15 Wawelska Street in Warsaw and is still active hospital. Daily about 8-10 cancer patients undergo surgery here, 100 pts gets iv chemo, and 90-100 pts have radiotherapy sessions. We are seeing 10 new cancer cases average per day and additional 150 pts is seeing oncologist for consultancy, treatment planning, oral chemo, or follow-up. This is a living monument of the history of cancer care. National Cancer Research Institute.
