The Pezcoller Foundation–EACR Translational Cancer Researcher Award 2027 recognizes a researcher demonstrating academic excellence and outstanding achievements in cancer research with potential for future clinical development. The award is jointly presented by the Pezcoller Foundation and the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR).
The recipient will deliver the prestigious Pezcoller Foundation–EACR Translational Cancer Researcher Award Lecture at the EACR 2027 Congress, taking place 14–17 June 2027 in Bilbao, Spain.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nominees must have no more than 15 years of postdoctoral experience, or equivalent experience following their relevant degree.
- Have spent at least the last five years working in Europe.
- Be currently employed at a European institution.
- Demonstrate significant achievements and excellence in cancer research with translational potential.
- Be nominated by another person; self-nominations are not accepted.
- Not be a current EACR Board member.
