For cancer-focused applications, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) is a participating institute, with interests spanning cancer detection, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment monitoring, precision diagnostics, liquid biopsy, artificial intelligence, immunotherapy technologies, biosensors, and next-generation therapeutics. Eligibility Criteria
- Applications must establish an academic-industrial partnership involving at least one academic organization and at least one industrial organization.
- Eligible applicants include public and private institutions of higher education.
- Nonprofit organizations may apply.
- Foreign/non-U.S. organizations are eligible to apply.
- Non-U.S. components of U.S. organizations and foreign components are allowed.
- Multiple PDs/PIs are permitted.
- Applicant organizations may submit more than one scientifically distinct application.
