ICRF Research Professorship Grants recognize established investigators whose work has significantly advanced cancer research. The program provides five-year support through a new invitation-based selection pathway linked to Project Grant applications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Israeli citizens.
- Hold an eligible appointment at an Israeli institution.
- Hold the rank of Full Professor or equivalent.
- Have at least eight years of independent research experience following an MD, PhD or MD/PhD.
- Conduct funded research in Israel.
- Apply through the Project Grant category; top-ranked applicants may be invited to submit a Vision Statement for Professorship consideration.
Funding Details
- Up to $500,000 over five years — $100,000 annually.
- PI and co-investigator salaries and institutional overhead are excluded.
- Professorship awards are limited and subject to further evaluation.
Deadline
- Initial Project Grant application: December 30, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EST.
- The subsequent Vision Statement is submitted by invitation.
