The Bosarge Family Foundation–Waun Ki Hong Scholar Award for Regenerative Cancer Medicine, administered by the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), supports postdoctoral and clinical research fellows conducting innovative research at the intersection of cancer survivorship and regenerative medicine.
The award provides $120,000 over two years for mentored translational, clinical, or population-science research aimed at improving the physiology and long-term health of cancer survivors or reducing the adverse effects of cancer treatment. Applications are due November 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- At the July 1, 2027 grant start date, applicants must hold a mentored postdoctoral fellow, clinical research fellow, or equivalent position.
- Applicants must devote at least 50% effort to the proposed research throughout the grant term.
- There are no citizenship or geographic restrictions.
- Applicants may not be candidates for another doctoral degree.
- Applicants may not concurrently hold another AACR grant.
- Applicants must be AACR members in good standing by the application deadline.
