The NEAGO Research Award 2027, offered by the New England Association for Gynecologic Oncologists, supports young investigators improving care for women with gynecologic cancers through clinical research. The award promotes academic development, mentorship and collaboration, particularly projects involving multiple NEAGO institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants may be residents, fellows or junior faculty.
- Junior faculty must be fewer than seven years since graduation.
- Research must address care for women with gynecologic cancers.
- A full NEAGO member must serve as mentor.
- Collaboration across NEAGO institutions is strongly encouraged.
- Full proposals require institutional support and career-goal statements.
- Mentor support and participating-site collaboration letters are required.
Funding Details
- Requested budget: $10,000–$20,000.
- Progress reports are required at six and twelve months.
- Results should be presented at the annual NEAGO meeting.
Deadline
- LOI: January 11, 2027.
- Invited full proposal: March 8, 2027.
- Award notification: April 2027.
