The EACR–Molecular Oncology Editorial Fellowship 2027 provides EACR members with an opportunity to gain practical experience in scientific publishing through a short-term fellowship with the FEBS journal Molecular Oncology.
The selected fellow will work remotely as part of the Molecular Oncology editorial team for three months, developing skills in manuscript evaluation, editorial processes, scientific writing, and journal publishing. The fellowship also includes an opportunity to visit the Molecular Oncology Editorial Office in Heidelberg, Germany.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be current EACR members.
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of PhD experience by the application deadline.
- Applicants may have already completed their PhD or may currently be enrolled in a PhD started at least 2 years before the deadline.
- Applicants must not hold a faculty position or managerial role.
- Applicants must have been EACR members for at least 30 days before the application deadline.
Funding Details
- Award: €2,000 one-off fellowship award
- Additional travel support: Up to €2,000 for travel and accommodation to visit the Molecular Oncology Editorial Office in Heidelberg
- Duration: 3 months part-time
- Workload: 20 hours/week, remote
