
2025 NETRF Mentored Research Award
The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) Mentored Research Award provides $100,000 over two years to support early-career investigators engaged in high-impact research on neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). This award is designed to nurture the next generation of NET researchers by supporting postdoctoral and clinical fellows conducting mentored research that aligns with NETRF’s mission.
Eligibility:

Applicants must hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree.

Must be in a full-time postdoctoral or clinical research fellowship position.

Must be conducting mentored research at a non-profit academic or research institution.

Open to applicants globally.

Research must not focus on small cell lung cancer, large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, neuroendocrine prostate cancer, mesothelioma, or poorly differentiated non-small cell lung cancer.
Funding:

100,000 USD total over 2 years (50,000 USD/year).

No indirect costs allowed.

Supports PI salary (up to NIH cap), research staff, supplies, equipment, and related expenses.

Funds may not be used entirely for salary support.

Travel to the NETRF Annual Research Symposium is required and reimbursable.
