Leukemia Exploration and Prevention (LEAP) Grant Program
The Leukemia Exploration and Prevention LEAP Grant Program, offered by the American Cancer Society, is designed to accelerate the discovery of cancer interception or prevention therapies specifically targeting RUNX1-FPD hematologic malignancies. This initiative supports independent investigators at any career stage and encourages research that could lead to transformative cancer prevention solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be independent investigators at any career stage.
- Must be affiliated with a non-profit academic or research institution.
- Open to both U.S. and international researchers.
- Proposed research must be focused on RUNX1-FPD hematologic malignancies and aim at interception or prevention strategies.
Funding Details
Research Scholar Grant (RSG)
- Amount: Up to 215,000 per year
- Duration: Up to 4 years
- Indirect Costs: Additional 10% allowed
Team Grant
- Amount: Up to $430,000 per year
- Duration: Up to 4 years
- Indirect Costs: Additional 10% allowed
