Susan G. Komen–Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Metastatic Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Grant, In Honor of Julia K. Levine
This special grant (Susan G. Komen–Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Metastatic Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Grant, In Honor of Julia K. Levine) mechanism provides critical funding for innovative research focused on metastatic invasive lobular carcinoma (mILC). The goal is to unlock new knowledge, improve patient outcomes, and advance care for those affected by mILC. The grant honors the legacy of Julia K. Eligibility Criteria
- Independent investigators at non-profit institutions or organizations
- Researchers with a confirmed independent position and start date by August 11, 2025
- Non-U.S. applicants must be able to accept wire transfers and pass grantee vetting
- Institutions or individuals on the OFAC sanctions list are not eligible
Funding Details
- Total Award: 400,000 USD (combined direct and indirect)
- Amount: 200,000 USD per year
- Duration: Up to 2 years

- Primary focus must be metastatic invasive lobular carcinoma (mILC)
- Projects may include: biology, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of mILC
- Hypothesis-driven studies highly encouraged
