The Assay Validation of High Quality Markers for Clinical Studies in Cancer (UH2/UH3 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) opportunity from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) will support the analytical and clinical validation of molecular, cellular, and imaging markers and assays for cancer detection, diagnosis, prognosis, monitoring, treatment response or resistance, prevention, and cancer control. The program will support either a combined UH2/UH3 pathway for up to 5 years or a standalone UH3 pathway for up to 3 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Public and private institutions of higher education are eligible.
- Nonprofit organizations with or without 501(c)(3) status are eligible.
- State, county, city or township, and special district governments are eligible.
- Federally recognized Native American tribal governments and other eligible tribal organizations may apply.
- The opportunity is intended for investigators and organizations capable of developing and validating assays using human specimens.
