The OCRA Collaborative Research Development Grant – Microsoft AI for Good Lab (CRDG-AI) supports ovarian cancer and related gynecologic cancer research projects with a clearly defined and substantive AI and/or machine learning component. This program combines OCRA grant funding with in-kind Azure computing support from Microsoft AI for Good Lab. The award provides up to $300,000 USD annually for 3 years ($900,000 USD total) and is scheduled to start on January 1, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The project must focus on ovarian cancer or related gynecologic cancers and include a central AI and/or machine learning component.
- The PI and all lead investigators must hold full-time faculty or equivalent appointments at eligible non-profit academic or research institutions and may not be in training positions.
- At least one key investigator must be a physician with expertise in ovarian cancer and/or related gynecologic cancers.
- International applicants and collaborations are allowed.
Funding Details:
- Up to $900,000 USD total over 3 years.
- Additional in-kind Azure credits may be provided through Microsoft AI for Good Lab. ,
- Planned grant start date: January 1, 2027.
