Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants include U.S. and non-U.S. organizations that meet NIH requirements.
- Foreign organizations are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must propose development of a novel or substantially improved technology.
- Projects must include rigorous technical validation with quantitative performance measures.
- Clinical trials are not allowed.
- Multiple applications from an institution are permitted when scientifically distinct.
