- When an early-career researcher is the lead or joint lead applicant, CRUK strongly recommends including an established researcher as a co-applicant for mentorship.
- Part-time and flexible-working applications may be considered with host-institution approval and prior discussion with CRUK.
- Applicants may submit the same project to other funding organisations, but if more than one application is successful, only one award may ultimately be accepted.
