The EACR–Worldwide Cancer Research Collaboration Fellowships are a new initiative supporting international research visits that develop from connections made at the EACR Congress 2026, held in Budapest from June 8–11, 2026. The program is jointly supported by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and Worldwide Cancer Research.

Successful applicants can receive up to €3,500 to continue a newly established collaboration through an in-person research visit. The fellowship may be used to exchange expertise and techniques, undertake a focused short-term research project, or build the foundations for a future collaborative grant proposal.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The fellowship must arise from a new research connection made at the EACR Congress 2026 in Budapest.
  • Both collaborating researchers must have attended EACR Congress 2026, held June 8–11, 2026.
  • At least one of the two researchers must have no more than 8 years of postdoctoral research experience at the time of submission.
  • The fellowship must support an in-person research visit between the collaborating researchers.
  • The proposed visit must last a minimum of two weeks; the program does not specify a maximum duration.
