NCI Cancer Prevention and Control Clinical Trials Grant 2026

NCI Cancer Prevention and Control Clinical Trials Grant 2026

Due Date: 10/05/2026

The NCI Cancer Prevention and Control Clinical Trials Grant Program provides R01 funding for investigator-initiated clinical trials designed to reduce the burden of cancer through improvements in early detection, screening, prevention and interception, healthcare delivery, quality of life, supportive care, and survivorship. Projects should have the potential to advance evidence-based clinical practice or public health.

The program supports Phase 0 through Phase IV clinical trials within the research interests of the NCI Division of Cancer Prevention and Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences. It does not support trials evaluating cancer diagnosis or the efficacy of oncologic treatments in cancer patients; early-phase therapeutic and diagnostic cancer trials are covered through the companion PAR-25-081 opportunity.
