Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be independent researchers with an academic or research appointment at a Canadian institution.
- The qualifying research appointment must be in place by the effective date of funding.
- Applicants must have sufficient independence to conduct the proposed research and publish its results.
- Researchers must be permitted by their institution to supervise trainees where applicable.
- New and early-stage investigators conducting pilot, basic science, or proof-of-concept research are strongly encouraged to apply.
- The proposed research must focus on advanced or metastatic stage III or IV lung cancer.
- Projects should specifically address issues relevant to patients beyond first-line therapy.
