The Breast Cancer Alliance Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship 2027 supports specialized training for surgeons pursuing careers in breast cancer care. Applications are open through eligible institutions, with funding intended to develop skilled, compassionate breast specialists and future leaders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Institutions must have an established breast fellowship program with Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) accreditation for at least two years.
- Institutions must be in Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York, within 75 miles of BCA’s Greenwich offices.
- Candidates must be US citizens, hold an MD, and have completed general surgery residency at a US medical center.
- Each institution may submit one candidate’s CV annually, accompanied by two references.
Funding Details
- Amount: $85,000.
- Duration: August 1, 2027–July 31, 2028.
- Award limit: One fellowship per institution annually.
- Payment: Following a signed contract.
