VeloSano Collaborative Grants fund peer‑reviewed, lifesaving cancer research conducted at Cleveland Clinic in collaboration with at least one partnering institution. VeloSano is Cleveland Clinic’s year‑round cancer research fundraising movement, and 100% of participant‑raised dollars are awarded directly to Cleveland Clinic researchers through this competitive grants program. This FOA specifically prioritizes multi‑PI, cross‑institution projects designed to produce innovative, high‑impact cancer research that benefits Northeast Ohio and/or Cleveland Clinic’s global sites and positions teams for extramural funding after the award period. Community outreach and community‑based research efforts (e.g., screening programs, disparity reduction initiatives, community events) are strongly encouraged.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Multi‑PI collaborative team required, including:
- Contact PI from a Cleveland Clinic Enterprise site.
- Partnering PI from:
- A Northeast Ohio organization (if Contact PI is in Northeast Ohio), OR
- A different Cleveland Clinic site within the enterprise (if Contact PI is outside Northeast Ohio; e.g., CCF London collaborating with CCF Florida).
- Contact PI must be full‑time Cleveland Clinic clinical or basic science faculty/staff (e.g., project scientist/staff, staff scientist, assistant, associate, full staff).
