The Binaytara Foundation offers competitive Implementation Science Research Grants of 25,000 USD each to support innovative projects that advance equitable cancer care delivery and outcomes. Selected finalists will present their proposals live during The Impact Pitch—a Shark Tank–style session at the Summit on Cancer Health Disparities (SCHD) 2026 in Seattle, where expert reviewers and audience members vote for the winning projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be one of the following:

Current hematology/oncology or related subspecialty fellows with at least 18 months of training remaining, or fellows who have secured a post-fellowship position at the same institution.

Early-career hematologists/oncologists or implementation scientists within three years of starting a faculty position.

Must hold an academic, clinical, or research appointment at an accredited medical institution or cancer center.

Applicant must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract (poster or oral) at SCHD 2026.

Each applicant may submit only one proposal for funding consideration.

All fellows must have a faculty mentor who provides institutional support and a letter of recommendation.

Projects must be feasible within 12–18 months under appropriate institutional oversight (IRB or equivalent).
Funding Details:

Grant amount: up to 25,000 USD.

At least two projects will be funded.

No institutional overhead or indirect costs allowed; all funds must support project expenses.

Finalists present live at The Impact Pitch at SCHD 2026 (Seattle, WA, March 27–28, 2026).

Funded investigators must present progress or final reports at the 2027 SCHD.

Progress reports due within 12 months; final reports required upon completion or publication.
