The Global Oncology Young Investigator Award (GO YIA) supports early-career researchers conducting innovative cancer studies that address global health challenges, particularly in low-resource settings. This mentored award encourages cross-collaboration between investigators in high- and low-income regions to advance equitable cancer care and research worldwide.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, MD/PhD, DO, or equivalent).

Must be in the final year of fellowship/training or within two years of a faculty/staff appointment (academic or non-academic).

Must be within 10 years of terminal degree (exceptions may apply for international applicants).

Must be working in an oncology or related scientific field, with at least 60% research effort dedicated during the award term.

Must be an ASCO member (membership free for physicians from LMICs).

Must have a contractual affiliation with an eligible sponsoring organization (academic, government, research, or non-profit institution).
