One-year, mentored grant supporting early-career physicians conducting clinical or translational research in cancer supportive care, during the transition from fellowship/training to a faculty role. U.S. and international applicants welcome.
Eligibility Criteria:

Physician (MD, DO, or international equivalent); MD/PhD eligible if both degrees completed by start.

In the last 2 years of final oncology subspecialty training at application, with limited exceptions (e.g., dedicated research year timing; within 3 months post-completion).

Within 10 years of medical degree (exceptions possible for foreign medical graduates).

Planning an investigative oncology career; active medical license where research is conducted.

Working in an oncology lab/clinical research setting; mentor required (ASCO-member letter if mentor is not a member).

ASCO member (or membership application submitted).

Commit ≥60% total effort to research during the award period.

Only one active Conquer Cancer grant at a time; no citizenship/geography restrictions (visa must allow project completion).
Funding:

USD 50,000 total for one year, paid in two equal installments; one award available for this competition.

Terms: two USD 25,000 payments; ≤5% indirects; ≥USD 46,000 to research; ≤USD 1,500 for awardee travel (incl. ASCO Annual Meeting).
