Funding for UK-based researchers to advance childhood, teenage, and young adult cancer research across discovery, detection, treatment, and impact. Projects may run up to three years, with emphasis on high-impact and first-in-child studies.
Eligibility Criteria:

Principal Investigator must be based at a recognised UK university, hospital, or research institute.

Eligible applicants: mid-career researchers, established researchers, clinicians, and non-clinical researchers.

PI salary not funded; must be secured for the full project.

Only one application per PI per round.

Collaboration encouraged; international partners allowed if PI is UK-based.

Research must address cancers in children, teenagers, or young adults with clear articulation of impact.

Not eligible: proposals out of remit, led outside the UK, from commercial organisations, or primarily for equipment/infrastructure.
