Precision Child Health (PCH) Partnership Scholarship Program

Support for trainees advancing precision, data-driven care for children by developing tools and technologies that enable faster diagnosis, targeted therapies, safer drugs, and equitable access to individualized care. Part of the SickKids–CHU Sainte-Justine Precision Child Health Partnership (PCHP); applications are submitted through Restracomp.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Trainees conducting PCH-aligned research (e.g., genetics, biology, environment, social determinants, tech/tools for precision care).

  • PhD students and PhD-holding Research Fellows.

  • Must meet underlying Restracomp platform requirements when applying via Restracomp (e.g., SickKids supervisor eligibility and trainee status).

  • Indicate “precision child health” or “precision therapy” in the Restracomp application keywords.

Funding Details:

  • PhD Students: CAD $35,000 per year, up to 2 years.

  • PhD-holding Research Fellows: CAD $60,000 per year, 2 years.

Deadline:

  • Follows Restracomp competition timelines. Check the current Restracomp call (e.g., Fall cycles) for exact dates.
