CSTP funds exceptional clinician-researchers training under SickKids scientists. Awards support intensive research training (≥80% research or full-time U of T grad enrollment) with co-funded options available through SickKids Centres and donors.
Eligibility Criteria:

At the award start date:

Research Fellow or Clinical Research Fellow at SickKids under a Senior Scientist/Scientist/Senior Associate/Associate Scientist supervisor, or full-time Master’s/PhD student at the University of Toronto with a significant independent research component.

Pursuing the fellowship full-time (minimum 80% research commitment) or enrolled full-time in the U of T graduate program noted above.

Licensed (current or prior) health professional in Canada.

Funding Details:

CAD $60,000 per year for 2 years (CAD $50,000 from RTC + CAD $10,000 supervisor contribution).

Automatic consideration for select donor-funded fellowships; applicants may opt-in for Centre co-funding via the application (supplemental requirements may apply).
