Johns Hopkins Hematology & Medical Oncology Fellowship

Two-track, ACGME-accredited fellowship with separate ERAS applications for Medical Oncology (10 slots) and Hematology (3 slots). Program participates in program signals (opt-in); all applications are reviewed together regardless of track. Dual-certification pathway available for Med-Peds applicants in adult hematology + pediatric heme/onc (apply via the adult Hematology track and note in your personal statement). Applications are submitted through ERAS; season opens in July for the following July start.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
  • For IMGs: ECFMG certification; eligible for J-1 (program does not initiate H-1 sponsorship, though H-1 holders are eligible); U.S. permanent residents also eligible.
  • Apply via ERAS to one or both tracks based on interest (solid tumors → Medical Oncology; benign heme → Hematology; heme malignancy → either/both).
  • ERAS materials required: CV, personal statement (clinical & research interests), 3 LORs (including Training Director), USMLE transcript, photo (requested, not required).

Funding Details:
